Eradicating discrimination based on age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, immigration status, income, national origin, race, refugee status, religion or sexual orientation.
EQUAL PAY & OPPORTUNITIES
Enforcing and strengthening equal pay protections, including better publicizing how equal pay discrimination can be reported
REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS & ACCESS
Ensure access to safe abortion care (including supporting the “Roe” Act)
Increase access to menstrual products in public schools, prisons, and homeless shelters
SEXUAL HARASSMENT & VIOLENCE
Increased sexual harassment training and protections for survivors of sexual harassment
State-wide certification process for sexual assault counselors
Increase education for students on proper consent and sexual assault
MATERNAL HEALTH
Medicare For All, to ensure that all women, especially Black women, have access to quality and affordable health care
Policies that incentive providing patient-centered care that focuses on the individualized needs of Black women
Policies that eradicate discrimination in medical education & practice
Holding individual hospital systems and providers accountable if they fail to provide unbiased, high-quality, evidence-based care
Establish a maternal mortality review committee to study racial disparities in maternal health and deaths in Massachusetts
