SENIORS

No one should struggle to afford food, housing or healthcare as they age.

Meg will advocate for:

  • A single-payer healthcare system that ensures quality and affordable healthcare for all Massachusetts seniors, and increases the nursing home reimbursement rate to increase the quality of care

  • Increased funding to raise the wages to a livable wage for nursing home and direct care caregivers

  • A tax credit for certain expenses incurred by family caregivers, to offset the costs of caring for loved ones

  • Increase educational and support resources to aid family caregivers

  • Easier options to save for retirement, including an opt-in option via your paycheck that you control, regardless of employment

  • Expanded affordable housing options specifically designed for Massachusetts residents ages 60+
