HEALTH CARE

Quality, affordable health care should be a right for all, not a privilege for some.

Meg will advocate for:

  • High-quality single-payer healthcare (“Medicare For All”) that is more affordable and not tied to your employment (click here to learn more)

  • Expanded funding and access to mental health treatment and resources, including offering additional support in schools and community centers

  • A comprehensive plan to combat substance abuse and the opioid epidemic, including recognizing it as the public health crisis it is and ensuring access to quality treatment programs

  • Protections to prevent healthcare discrimination against members of the Black and Brown communities, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ communities

  • Removing obstacles and expanding access to abortion care (the “Roe Act”) (click here to learn more)

  • Comprehensive, age-appropriate and LGBTQ-inclusive sexual education in our schools
