Common-sense gun reforms to protect our schools and communities
Universal background checks for all gun sales, so that minors and those with a history of violence can not access firearms
Requiring all private gun sales to take place at gun shops, so that a comprehensive background check can be conducted
Extreme risk laws so that law enforcement and family members are able to take action upon the first signs of violence
Preventing the possession of firearms while under a restraining order or after a criminal conviction
Programs to identify at-risk students and appropriately intervene
Expand access to quality mental health services
